This new generation of RNS-510 navigation unit features updates that enhance speed, LED monitor, reduce glitches found in older firmware versions and allow for advanced features such as support for 32GB HDSD cards, voice features with optional BT kit, and more.
Firmware is 1040 and hardware is 08. Units manufactured in June 2010 or later.
Fits the following VW vehicles: MK5, MK6, B6, CC, Tiguan or Eos.
VCDS/vag-com coding is required to integrate full functionality.
Note: When fitting this unit to 05.5-08 model year VWs, some have experienced a battery drain issue. This can be remedied by updating the can-bus module. If you have concerns about this issue, please research for more details on the problem and the solution.

This MFD2 unit will fit any MKV Jetta or Golf, Passat B6, Passat CC, Eos or Tiguan. Condition of the unit is good with some superficial scratches on the screen and buttons, but does not affect the picture.
