OEM RNS-510 Navigation Package

This second generation of RNS-510 navigation unit features updates that enhance speed, support for HD radio sub-channels, LED monitor, reduce glitches found in older firmware versions and allow for advanced features such as support for 32GB HDSD cards, voice features with optional BT kit, and more.

Firmware has been updated to 1140.  Units manufactured in 2010 or early 2011.

Fits the following VW vehicles: MK5, MK6, B6, CC, Tiguan or Eos. VCDS/vag-com coding is required to integrate full functionality.

Note: When fitting this unit to 05.5-08 model year VWs, some have experienced a battery drain issue. This can be remedied by updating the can-bus module. If you have concerns about this issue, please research which version of can-bus module you may need and for more details on the problem and the solution.
