Yes, if you have a white color MFD, the 9W7 bluetooth should work. Skoda, I’m not sure of.

ihave just purchased Skoda yeti withiut BT. want to install it. white color MFD. Will the 9W7 kit work for all function of BT telephony including Steering control . Kindly conform . If U say yes , i will purchase. thanx and best regards vipan katyl

Hello,
I got recommended to your site view myturbodiesel.com. I’ve got 2010 jetta TDI Sportwagen (USA) with 9w2 (pn 1K8 035 730 D). I’ve got no nav system, but want the upgraded features in the 9w7.

Will the 7p6035730 work for me? which version do i need B/C/D etc.

RCD 510 – tiguan facelift version here…
I do not have any bluetooth kit installed at all..

9W7 – including other stuff like mic & cables … do you have it …
If it works on the new tiguan i’ll go for the whole kit…

Installed RNS-510 + 9w7 module in 2009 VW cc sport. Everything seems to work well , except when calling (I can hear the caller and the phone ring through the speakers) but when the caller answers they can not hear me speaking. Any thoughts. Thanks

The 9W3 (what you have) is smaller and has metal covering while the 9W7 is larger and plastic covering. They are slightly different shapes.

If you want to DIY harness, here are all the parts. You need 2 VW repair wires and just cut them in half, solder w/your own extension wire in the middle, and plug them into the existing connector. Connect pin 5 to pin 5 and pin 11 on the radio to pin 4 on the bluetooth.

12 pin connector (6×2 rows) – green- 3B7 035 447 B (3B7035447B) – telephone end

Repair Wire 0.5mm – 000 979 009 (000979009)
pin 5 – telephone audio input signal left negative
pin 11 – Telephone audio input signal left, positive

54 pin connector (18×3 rows) – blue- 4E0 972 144 (4E0972144)

Repair Wire 0.5mm – 000 979 010E (000979010E)
pin 4 – Audio LF Signal out +
pin 5 – Audio LF Signal Out –

Scott, Thanks for you quick reply. The BT module currently installed is 1Z0035729E and has what looks like a small printed circuit board plugged into the side. Does the 9W7 module incorporate the plugged in item? The existing BT module is held place by a metal cover with 3 bolts. It looks like I don’t need the metal cover with 9W7 – correct? Is there additional wiring required for L and R channels when streaming audio? If I can get these questions answered I will be ordering.
