I'm reading on the forums about Volkswagen RNS 510 Firmware version 2660 / 2662 / 2664 / 2666 / 2668. I just bought a 2009 Jetta TDI, is there a part number for an upgrade to this version? Or should I just use RNS510FLSH0380 and upgrade to the 1000 version? Trying to get the unit up to the latest available software.

Many thanks!

I ordered the firmware update for my Mk6 gti with oem RNS-510 and when I tried to install it it told me I already had that firmware verison. However I don't have the clock when off or any of those other options mentioned up at the top. Whats going on?

If you have an older unit with firmware 0340 or earlier, yes, this disk will help upgrade to the more recent version. Typically this applies to units with part number 3C0-035-684 or 3C0-035-684A only.

I have 2009 Jetta TDI with factory RNS-510 installed, would the RNS510FLSH0380 CD work to upgrade the firmware on my unit?

Thanks

Absolutely! Many current and former R32 owners have retrofitted the RNS-510 unit into their vehicles. If you need help with the parts you will need to make it work, please let us know.
