    Hi Marc,
    Caller ID, as I understand it with the FISCON kit will only display on the MFD display in the tacho. I don’t believe that it will display on the 510 unit based on what I’ve read.
    Thanks,

    @Jeff,
    Sorry, missed your comment.
    Installation of the FISCON kit is not difficult, just time intensive. Should take between 2-3 hours if you’re not familiar with it, shorter if you are.
    If we can help, please let us know.
    Thanks,

    The fiscon mobile bluetooth pro kit is amazing i have it installed on band new cars at the Volkswagen dealership i work at. The customers like it a lot more than the volk-l system, Which i personally think is garbage and a headache cause it won’t tie into the RNS-510. The kit also works well with the RCD-510 on the 2010 Volkswagen’s. I would recommend the kit to everyone. The only issue is I’ve had customers with over 600 contacts and it won’t pull any contacts up if you have that many.

    Hi, I’m taking delivery of a new VW Passat CC GT.TSi 2.0l on March 1st this year. It will have navigation sytem installed but no telephone prep, as advised by sales staff. Will Fiscon retrofit give everything normally required – screen display of phone book, voice control etc and which screen will it use? I would not be interested in a system that had a little touch screen standing on the dash with a wire coming from it. Finally, what is the total cost and do you do it? Cheers – Keith.

    @Ryan Norden,
    The RNS-510 and Bluetooth kit (Skoda) will certainly integrate well with your iPhone. If we can help, please let us know.

    @FLYTDIGUY, i understood from your reply that in order to have phone integration the bolero must be replaced with RNS 510 and to buy and install a new skoda BT kit, is my understanding is correct

    @Ahmed,
    That is correct…in order to have bluetooth integration with phone book support on the screen, you need the RNS-510 and Fiscon or Skoda BT kit.

    Hi,

    I just bought a Jetta Sportwagen TDI 2010. It does not have navigation – it has the RCD-510.

    It has White DIS – from what I understand, the FISCON Basic Plus will not work with my car. Is that correct? What can I do to get these features going on my JSW?

    Thank you,

    Jim

    @Jim, This kit will definitely work with your JSW with white display. The only thing that will not work with the white DIS is the E-MFA device.
    You have two options for RNS-510 integration with BT, the Fiscon or the 9W3/Skoda, both of which will work with your JSW.

    @Flytdiguy, Thank you for your reply! I just wanted to clear up the RNS-510/RCD-510 issue. I have an RCD-510. It does not have navigation – that is why I am worried this upgrade will not do everything I think it will.

    Thank you!

    Jim

    @Jim,
    You can order the firmware disc directly from VW Publications here. Then type in the SKU “RNS510FLSH0380″ in the key word search. It is $20 without shipping and as of today it is available in stock. Installation takes about an hour and instructions can be found here.

    Hi! Is this kit still for sale, and will it replace the 9w2 bluetooth kit that’s factory default fitted in a golf vi 2011?

    Reply

    FLYTDIGUY Reply:

    Hi Jeffrey,
    Yes, the Fiscon Kit is still available for sale. As long as your dashboard display is white, you could easily replace your 9W2 module with a 9W7 module and be done with it.

    Get yours here

    Or, if you have a red display, you may want to consider the Fiscon or replacing the 9W2 with a 9W3 (729B) if you can find one.

    If we can help, please let us know.

    Thanks!

    Yes, we do have the 9W3 for the red display (729B) modules. Do you need the entire kit or just the module?

    Thanks,
