Why yes, and I will correct that. The Tiguan kit is the same as the MKV, Eos and B6.
Please contact us if you’re interested. Thanks!

i have the RNS510 unit and was wondering if there any way to get the DVD feed from the unit and play on rear screens? I see that the unit has inputs for both video and audio, but no outputs. Also Video in Motion is another option, but have no idea how to make this work (I understand that some countries and states have laws that prohibit this). Are you able to assist or point me toward someone who could.

    Hi Steve,
Yes, it is possible to enable Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE). There is a separate connection at the back of the unit specifically for this purpose. You will need a RGB to NTCS converter such as this one (http://www.ambery.com/rgrgtotvcosc.html). As far as Video in Motion, that can be done through an adapter such as this one (http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p529_TV-Free—VW-MFD2-RNS2-RNS-510—-Plug—Play-.html). I have an 08 Touareg with Navi. Will this kit work with the back up camera and and MFD?Basically want to know if this is a “plug and play kit”?

    Sean,
Typically yes, the RNS-510 is plug & play with the 08 and newer Touaregs. I will say that depending on your factory configuration (MFD2 Navi, Dynaudio, amp set-up, ect.), there may be some VAG-Com coding required. If you’ve got an existing back-up camera and want to integrate it with the RNS-510, that may require some research.
Feel free to email me at the Contact Us link.
    Thanks!

Where do you install the antenna the Touareg 2? I didn’t know if it was possible to install it under the grille on the dash. Thanks!

I’m having a heck of a time finding a NAV system to put into a 2004 Touareg that has not previously had a NAV unit in it. Any units that will work for that? thanks!

    Hi
I’d like to know if its possible to mount this 510-unit in my -04 Touareg (with existing cd-nav unit). And if its possible to get the MFD and steering-wheel buttons working as the old navi.
Also interested in backup camera and bluetooth.

    Hi Kim,
Yes, it is possible, but to get what you’re looking for including the BT and rear camera, you’re looking at about $3000 in parts. Not sure you want to invest that much or not.

If you’re interested, let us know and we can help you walk through the items you will need.

    Thanks,

Hello, When will you have the Lastest RNS-510 units instock. The E unit is the lastest version I believe but there is also an F unit out? Also, what will be the pricing on them?
    Thanks!!

For all but the Touareg, we should be receiving the units within the next few weeks. Typically, we receive a few units in and they are spoken for as they arrive from pre-payment. If you’d like to get on the list, please contact us.

    Thanks,

I have an 04 touareg 3.2L v6. It does not have a navagation unit. I want to put one of these units in it. Is there anything else besides whats in this kit that i will need for full functionality? I do have steering wheel radio controls, and multi-function display in the guage cluster.

    Hi Zach,
The first thing you might want to check on is whether or not you have a digital or analog amplifier. If digital, I believe you would have to replace the amp, wiring and all speakers.
Then you need a can-bus adapter, and from there add the RNS-510 navigation unit (which we are out of stock on).
You may want to research further on clubtouareg.com as others have had trouble with the coding.

All-in-all, it is possible, but it takes patience and a hefty wallet.

If we can help, please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Flytdiguy
